Sex Education in NJ: Parents’ Choice

Dear Parents and Guardians: In 2020 the NJ State Board of Education adopted new standards for sex education in the public schools that are set to take effect in this coming Fall semester (Fall of 2023). These new standards outline extensive instruction on gender expressions, gender identity and sexual orientation and various sexual activities at all grade levels.
